                                  36 States carrying a Silver Bullet

3/11/10:  A total of 36 states (you have to love them) may be carrying a Silver Bullet as regards the potential health care legislation.  That is to say, there are 36 States which have enacted, or are in the process of enacting State legislation to protect their citizens right to opt out of the individual mandate that requires individuals to purchase health insurance, as contained within the health care package (HERE).  This is something each and every State should consider, and the citizens within the States that have nothing pending at this time should get off of their duffs and get busy encouraging their State legislatures to get on the ball and "git 'er done".

              Stealth legislation will threaten free market health insurance

3/5/10:  Another piece of stealth legislation, in the form of an amendment (HR4626) to the McCarron-Ferguson Act would indicate that the government is ramping up for federal regulation of health insurance, and clearing away any states rights impediments to the health plan.  HR4626 was passed February 24th, effectively gives the government the ability to stop mergers and effectively drive competitors out of the business of health insurance, to protect the government insurance pool (under the health care plan proposed).  HR4626 will apply the choke hold to free market insurance.  HERE.

              Reconciliation on health care, an assault on constitutional process

3/2/10:  The whole premise in government as originally devised was to have a system of checks and balances, and a division of power.  The attempt by Owe-bama to abrogate the original intent of the constitution to use reconciliation in the health care issue is not about checks and balances or a division of power...it is about complete control by the Executive branch, and as such, should be considered evil and completely irresponsible.  You will get a very good insight into this subject HERE.

3/2/10:  As you will read HERE, the Massachusetts health care plan enacted in 2006 (when Mitt Romney was governor) is an excellent learning curve for the boys and girls in the Putrid Province on the Potomac.  Trouble is, they haven't learned much from it.  The chickens have come home to roost in Mass. this year, because the bills are coming due now.  The governor, Demonrat Deval Patrick, has already set hard price controls across the state, is set to allow state regulators to exercise the power they now have to cap insurance premiums, and finally, is introducing a bill which would give regulators the authority to review the rates of hospitals, physician groups, and some specialty providers.  The link provided in this article is a Wall Street Journal article, and if you don't subscribe you won't get the full article.  You can e-mail the administrator of this site for that article if you can't get the full article, if you wish.  The full article details the financial havoc the Mass. plan has reaped, and projects some dire consequences for the citizens there.

2/22/10:  Demonrat Liberals have got their thumbs to their noses and are telling all Americans "F- YOU" in this orchestrated attempt to bypass all sense of transparency, honesty, and cooperation in order to get their economy choking health care bill passed.  In THIS ARTICLE we are clearly shown how their latest scheme will work, most likely this week.

                Health Care Summit conflicts with the Constitution

2/20/10:  It should come as no surprise that the scheduled health care summit is anything but a sneak attack on the part of BHO, Pelosi, and Reid, and that it will represent machinations at their best to allow the Communistic Triumvirate to have their way with the minions of society...we the American people.  The summit, proposed by BHO for the 25th of this month signifies nothing less than a mish-mash of conflicting matters within the framework of the Constitution as can be clearly seen by reading THIS ARTICLE, as it points out the great lengths (very questionable ones) the Triumvirate will take to ram this down our throats.  Don't say we weren't warned.

         And they are trying to cram gov't health care down our throats here?

2/3/10:  Canada has government run health care (eg: socialized medicine), not unlike the crap that our government is trying to cram down our throat (or up our butts) here in the US.  Get a load of THIS ARTICLE!!!  One of Canada's Premiers is coming to the US for heart surgury!  Now, what lesson can be learned from that?  My guess is that DC folks must think us somewhat stupid???

2/2/10:  Virginia, a state that supported Obumbler in 2008, has just slapped his face.  The Virginia Senate just passed a bill making it illegal to mandate that its citizens purchase health insurance, a direct low blow to the O administration.  THIS ARTICLE gives the details. 1/30/10:  The vipers (Pukosi/Pelosi) et all, are still very busy in the Snake Pit (Congress) continuing to scheme ways to ram their version of health care (aka socialized medicine) down our throats, and now it appears that they feel they can reach a compromise, not by paring back on an already nasty and expensive bill, but by making changes that will cost yet ANOTHER 300 BILLION DOLLARS.  WTF????  It's just money....on top of a bill that nobody in their right mind wants.  Another example of complete morons at work in THIS ARTICLE.

1/20/10:  In THIS STUNNING ARTICLE, a former high executive of Cigna explains how the major impact of the health care legislation will benefit the health insurers while screwing that part of the population is has proportedly been designed to help the most, the poor and the un and/or under insured.  After reading the article, I am pretty much convinced that it is "Game On", advantage insurers.  Which begs the question in screaming terms:  could it be that those involved in the legislative process for both he House and Senate versions have been aware of this?  Back to the old mantra:  FOLLOW THE MONEY.

1/6/10:  I have spoken to a number of people lately on the "Generational Theft" theme
and have been unpleasantly surprised by the comments I have received. Most
people have an attitude that goes something along the lines of
"they(children or grandchildren) will do ok, after all, we made it.
I do not see that the fact that the government is working overtime at
getting their hands on all our money TODAY has dawned on them.
WE NEED to stop calling it Generational Theft and call it what it is LARCENY
for the PURPOSE OF REDISTRIBUTION of OUR POSSESSIONS - TODAY.
 
Wake up and smell the coffee. Stop people from thinking that someone else
will have to pay the bill and/or figure out the solution. If we don't stop
the HC bill and every other attempt to get our property, we won't make it
much further in this life - at least not comfortably.

                Some Democrats to swap a vote for health care for amnesty for illegals?

Can the amnesty push be fired up by some in congress agreeing to vote FOR health care in exchange for provisions in Zero's "immigration reform (next big battle) that will provide them with health insurance then? You bet !
