New Postage Stamp issued, but malfunctions
The Postal Services created a stamp with a picture of President Obama on it. The Postal Service noticed that the stamp was not sticking to envelopes. This enraged the President, who demanded a full investigation. After a month of testing and $1.73 million in congressional spending, a special Presidential commission presented the following findings:
1.The stamp is in perfect order.
2.There is nothing wrong with the glue.
3.People are spitting on the wrong side.
Cash for Clunkers, a true Taxes in Action Program
Ok, whenever politics is involved, one generally hears (somewhere along the line) the term "follow the money." So, let's follow the money as regards the Cash for Clunkers program that the government touted as a highly successful program. Oh, need I mention that I spoke with a dealer involved in the program and he was laughing about the fact that most likely within 6 months a significant portion of the cars sold through the program would be repossessed? Ah, but on to the numbers.
A clunker that traveled 12,000 miles a year at 15 mpg used 800 gallons of gas a year.
A vehicle purchased through the program that travels 12,000 mile a year at 25 mpg uses 480 gallons of gas a year.
So, if those are average numbers under the program, the average Cash for Clunkers transaction will reduce US gasoline consumption by 320 gallons per year. Since they claim that 700,000 vehicles were sold through the program, that equates to 224 million gallons of fuel saved per year, which equates to a bit over 5 million barrels of oil.
5 million barrels of oil is about 5 hours worth of US consumption. More importantly, 5 million barrels of oil at $70 per barrel, costs about $350 million dollars.
So, the government spent $3 BILLION of our tax dollars to save $350 million dollars in oil usage. We spent $8.57 for every dollar saved. This is TAXES IN ACTION !

ACORN
We finally know what ACORN stands for .... A Corrupt Organization Robbing the Nation.
By loaning money to dead-beats with no credit history, it played a big roll in the mortgage and banking foreclosures.
It is an organizaton full of crooks that got caught stealing money from the government and us, the tax payers.
Plus ACORN has played a roll in illegal voting, that with the liberal media, got our Nation in this big mess.
Did you notice none of the media did any checking on them??? It took amateurs to bring them down.
